About
As a Nepalese-Australian photographer now based in London, UK, I use photography as a mirror of self-awareness. It's my tool to delve deep into my psyche, to strip away the veneer of societal and familial expectations and let go of the extrinsic values I adopted as my own. It's through this medium I seek to unearth my truest self - the one that's raw, vulnerable, and honest.
In my work, I aim to project the rebellion against tradition, the primacy of authenticity over ego, and the pursuit of inner peace over shame. I seek to demonstrate the transient nature of everything we hold dear, and the emptiness in denying one's true self. I focus on capturing life's ephemeral moments - the hugs, the sorrows, the whole spectrum of emotions, acknowledging them as they are. My aspiration is that my photography may inspire others to gradually peel back their layers, and confront, accept, and be their genuine selves, even if for a brief moment in time.
